There were a lot of posts on web design this week- which is good since we are content marketers and people don’t want to read ugly content. Would more people read law dissertations if they had pictures and scratch-and-sniff stickers? I think so. Anyway, here is the content-marketing blog round-up for the week of May 18th.
5/21 Smashing magazine prints a guide for content marketers to talk to the design guys in “Web Design Industry Jargon Glossary and Resources.” Reading this will make sure you don’t end up in this next post:
5/21 Copyblogger Roberta Rosenberg has a “What Not to Wear” moment with SimpleWeb in “Landing Page Makeover Clinic #16.”
5/20 Patsi Krakoff gives cliff notes for Heather Loyd Martin’s online course in “Top 20 things you should know about SEO Copywriting.”
5/18 Ian Lurie wrote the post that sparked a flurry of emails in our office about online registration for content…..or anything . Read “9 Ways to Reduce Cart Abandonment.”
5/18 Last, Craphammer Sean Howard reminds me why I wasn’t cool in high school in “The Invisible Herd.”
