The Writer War Zone

March 10th, 2014 by

pen is mightierLike war, writing can be a bloody business, especially in a platform like WriterAccess where identities are safe and protected, taking freedom of speech to a new level.

Occasionally clients will vent frustration: This article sucks. Fire the writer. Remove all their stars. Refund my money. New writer please. Next!

Of course writers will then jump to their own defense: Bad instructions. No instructions. Guessing games here. You don’t know what you want and I’m not a mind reader. New client please. Next!

It’s no fun getting mentally and emotionally pummeled any day of the week. Likewise, it’s no fun to have your expectations melted in a sea of mediocrity.

Thankfully, the perfect match does happen magically about 99.9% of the time. Technology, specifically algorithms, track the performance of writers so clients can predict the likelihood of success. Good writers are rising stars. Clients help identify the falling stars. No more guesswork with clients and writers for the most part here at WriterAccess.

In war, it’s the hope for victory and willingness to keep fighting that propels you onward. You maintain an unwillingness to lie down or give up, and a readiness to rebound when you’re down. Again. And again. And again. Until the well is dry. Or the victory is reached.

Keep on writing!
