Chances are, if you’re reading this blog, you have a decent idea of what social media is and you’re already pretty interested or involved in it. However, you might still find yourself running up against clients, corporate decision makers or even friends who have the wrong (or no) idea about social media – and you’re at a bit of a loss in explaining its importance in business terms – including why social media should play a crucial role in your content marketing strategy.
Espresso, a brand infiltration agency (sort of like integrated marketing), pulled together a darling of a presentation that cuts through a lot of the bull and the buzz of blogging, Twitter, Facebook, Flickr and more. (Full Disclosure Alert: I work with Espresso now and again – but don’t let my presumed bias dissuade you on the goodness of this information!)
“What The F**k is Social Media, One Year Later” is a downloadable Slideshare presentation that delivers eye-popping stats and facts presented with wit and tough love that your client, business or colleagues can’t ignore (the “One Year Later” refers to the changes since Marta Kagan, Espresso’s Director of US Operations, developed her first “WTF” presentation on social media). It might be just the kick in the pants your company or clients need to get on the right track when it comes to web content marketing. Take a look:
And for those who aren’t super comfortable with presenting material in their boardroom that is loaded with f-bombs (even of the starred-out variety), Espresso has created a “kinder, gentler” PG version titled “What is Social Media.” It still packs a punch – but with mom-approved language.

I love the fact that you put out there about the media elite. The left is trying to tellthe country the way it is and that there is no choice but theres so this is an extremely important point we have a completely left Government and President and Media. Not a good mix for balance or for us.
The truth can come out online but there is the potential for distortion there as well so hopefully enough people will check the accurate facts in more than one place or blog!!!
