ideaLaunch has six regular trade shows a year, and so trade show booth design is something that’s important to me and the rest of the ideaLaunch team.
Byron White, Chief Idea Officer of ideaLaunch, takes the lead on trade show design. He had the great idea of introducing a new imitation-grass carpet to the booth, and on Tuesday we debuted the updated look at the New England XPO for Business here in Boston. We received a lot of positive feedback about the grass carpet from show attendees, including “The design looks fresh, who designed this?”” and “what a nice touch!”
If you’re designing your own trade show booth, I’d recommend leveraging visual themes from your brand identify into your booth’s physical appearance. We purchased the green grass carpet not only because it represents our company color, but grass is a design element on the ideaLaunch website. Furthermore, the content we create helps boost our clients’ “organic” search engine listings; what could be more organic than healthy, natural green grass?
Many attendees who stopped by our booth loved our long vertical central panel that features an image of a man jumping for joy. We’ve been working on updating the copy on this panel, and here’s the result. What do you think?
We’d appreciate your feedback, especially if you visited our booth at NE XPO and saw the original signage.
