Thomas the Train Birthday Party Game Ideas

Thomas the Train and his friends are popular characters among young children ages 3-6. A Thomas birthday can be so much fun. If your little one wants a Thomas the Train birthday theme then here are some suggestions for games and activities to play at the party.
•Pin the number on Thomas: The whole game can be purchased at All Aboard Toys. It comes complete with a big poster and eight number "1" removable cut-outs, that easily stick to the poster. Take turns closing your eyes and trying to put the number in the right spot.
•Thomas Twister: This game can be played using the spinner from the original twister game. Instead of the twister mat, buy a vinyl table cloth and use colored paper plates with Thomas characters glued on them. Use the same twister rules.
•Paint the train: This activity may be a little messy, but it is so much fun. Draw a big train on an old sheet or cut a train shape out of a large cardboard box and let the kids decorate the train using their creativity and imagination. When they are done, take a picture of each child by their designer train for them to take home as a memento.
•Baggage claim race: Have some bags set up (either paper or cloth) on one side of the room and have the kids start on the other side. Give the children 10 seconds to run to the bags and get as many items (favors, trinkets, candy) as they can out of the bag then run back to where they started. To make it a little more challenging fill the bags with shredded paper along with the prizes. The kids keep what they get out of the bags! Party games and activities are a great way to keep children entertained. Kids love prizes, and party favors are a big plus.
