Makeup Application Demystified

Makeup application isn’t nearly as complicated as people make it out to be. It starts with basic skin care and builds from there. If you’re looking for tips for applying makeup, read on!
 

1. Cleanse face with a moisturizing foaming or milk facial cleanser. 
2. Use a non-alcoholic toner or astringent to remove any excess cleanser. 
3. Apply a good quality, anti-aging facial moisturizer containing SPF 15 or higher. 
4. Basic makeup application starts with a light foundation that suits your skin tone. Apply in dabs on the parts of your face that need it the most and blend. 
5. This is where applying makeup gets fun. Use fun, bold, colors over your eyelids and in the creases to intensity the color of your eyes.
6. Use an eyeliner to outline the contours of your eyes. 
7. Apply lipstick or a lipgloss. 8) If you haven’t used mascara yet, go ahead and apply a coat.
