Building Relationships: Columbia College Chicago

You may have noticed that one of our esteemed judges is Eliza Nichols, PhD, Dean of the School of Fine and Performing Arts at Columbia College Chicago. This isn't a coincidence. Artisan has always believed in investing themselves in the local community and in supporting and nurturing new talent in the field. Our relationship with Columbia College is one example of how we have chosen to go about this process.

So how exactly is Artisan involved with Columbia College Chicago? We set aside time to work with the students there to help them develop their portfolios. We also give them the opportunity to practice before being thrust into the job search by setting up some mock interviews. We are proud to share our time and expertise with these students and help them understand how they can apply the skills they have learned in school to the working world. We also try to share with them some information about what types of positions will be available to them after graduation.
